Welcome to FINS
We are a non profit making organisation which is run and managed by a core group of people.
FINS is a Fish rescue and rehoming centre dedicated to welfare of fish. We work with the RSPCA to rescue and rehome Coldwater, Tropical and marine species and have undertaken quite a variety of rescues to date from most of the uk ( details of which can be found on the 'rescues' page)
Our coldwater centre consists of two dedicated large ponds to facilitate fish and our tropical centre consists of numerous tanks. We also have a network of likeminded people with various facilities so the chances are if we cannot rehome it due to space problems then we can quite easily find a new home in dedicated systems.
All the foster homes or potential new homes are inspected by us first to make sure they are aware of what they are taking on and to make sure the new home is suitable for the fish they are taking on
If you have a fish that is in need of a new home, Perhaps your aware of a fish being mistreated then contact us without delay by using the contact information on the 'contact us' page of this website.

Set up in 2007 by Gareth we have gone from strength to strength to tackle the problems with abandoned or unwanted fish. In 2010 we assembled the Management committee which has taken over running of the group. |
